The rules of the “Prie žiedelio” homestead cabins are updated regularly as needed and in response to new arising circumstances. The version of the rules published on the website www.prieziedelio.lt applies to all arriving guests.
Check-in – Check-out:
- The maximum number of guests is specified before booking; additional guests may be accommodated only with prior notice and payment according to the rates.
- Guests are strictly prohibited from inviting friends, relatives, or any other individuals to the homestead, even for a short visit, without prior agreement with the hosts.
- Check-in is from 3:00 PM; check-out is by 12:00 PM.
- When booking a cabin or the entire homestead, a 20% advance payment (and/or deposit) must be paid in advance, which will be credited (deducted) from the final amount upon arrival. If a reservation is made but the guest fails to arrive at the agreed time, the advance (deposit) is non-refundable.
- Upon arrival at the premises, the full amount for services must be paid via bank transfer or in cash.
- Before leaving the homestead, the rented premises must be handed over clean and tidy. Guests must be present during the return of the rented property and any material assets to the hosts or their authorized representative. Any damaged inventory or property must be paid for immediately upon handover.
- If the guest leaves earlier than the reserved rental period, the homestead is not obliged to refund the fee for the unused time.
In the homestead area, visitors can use the following for FREE:
- Boats and water bicycles (life jackets must be worn), outdoor tennis court, basketball court, trampoline (children can jump ONLY under adult supervision), children's playground, beach volleyball court, FISHING.
FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE:
- Sauna and hot tub;
- Leisure boat ride on Lake Platelių;
- Sauna master services;
- Nature therapy;
- Catering service.
Visitors must familiarize themselves with the safety and internal rules:
- Be careful and considerate. Familiarize yourself with safety, internal, and fire safety rules.
- Take care of children's safety. Do not leave them unattended, especially near the pond.
- Be attentive. Visitors are responsible for accidents and damages that occur in the recreation area.
- Protect our environment. Use water and electricity responsibly. Our Mother Earth will surely thank you for it.
- Report malfunctions or violations. If you notice something out of order, report it to us immediately.
- Rules. They are designed to protect you from unforeseen health injuries and avoid unpleasant situations or incidents that may have serious consequences.
The following is prohibited on the territory and inside the buildings of the homestead:
- Bringing pets without prior approval from the homestead owners. We are not against pets, we love them, but we have chosen not to accept them so that each couple can enjoy their long-awaited rest with full privacy and peace. However, if any damage is caused by a pet, the owner will be responsible for covering the costs.
- Making noise or playing loud music outside. Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 08:00. Let’s respect each other’s privacy and peace. Guests rest and spend time near their cottages.
- Not causing inconvenience to other homestead guests who are trying to rest peacefully and use the common spaces and homestead territory.
- Keeping personal belongings only in your rented room or car (the owners are not responsible for the safety of personal belongings).
- Disturbing the peaceful rest of other guests.
- It is prohibited to break tree branches, pick plants, or throw hygiene products into the toilet. Smoking inside buildings is prohibited (including iQos, e-cigarettes, vapes, hookahs, etc.). Unregistered people are not allowed to enter the area designated for the cottages without the owners' consent.
- Starting fires in the homestead (such as lighting fireplaces, stoves, or using other devices that produce an open flame) without approval from the owners or their representative, and using firearms.
- Visiting when infected with contagious, viral, or other infectious diseases, or having open wounds or other health issues that could pose a risk to the health or life of oneself or other visitors.
- Guests are responsible for any accidents that may occur on the homestead grounds or outside it (inside the house, on the terrace, walking paths in the forest, in the yard, sauna, hot tub, swimming in the lake, playing on the sports court, etc.).
Safety rules:
- Fire may only be made in designated areas, i.e., in fire pits. Never leave a fire unattended, and always extinguish it before leaving the fire pit.
- In the case of force majeure (e.g., malfunctions, natural disasters, etc.), when we are unable to guarantee the quality of rest or provide services, the reservation may be moved to another cottage (by mutual agreement), changed to a different date, or canceled with a full refund of the deposit.
- It is prohibited to pour flammable liquids into the fireplace (it is for the outdoor fire pit). When the fireplace is burning, turn on the extractor fan, as smoke may enter the room. When cooking and using the fireplace, keep the window open. It is prohibited to place items on top of the fireplace or too close to it. Never leave a burning fireplace unattended if you're not in the cottage or around it.
- Use all appliances only for their intended purpose. If in doubt about safety, please contact the staff.
- Guests suspected of being intoxicated by alcohol, narcotic, or psychotropic substances have the right to be asked to leave by the staff.
- Guests are responsible for any accidents that occur inside the cottage, on the terrace, on walking paths in the forest, in the yard, in the sauna, hot tub, while swimming in the lake, or playing on the sports court. The guest is also responsible for accidents that happen due to alcohol or other reasons.
- Guests are fully responsible for any damage, destruction, or loss of movable and/or immovable property caused by negligence or intentional actions.
- If it is found that a guest has damaged property, they must compensate for the market value of the damaged item.
- The service provider is not responsible for the quality of services if safety, fire safety, and internal order rules are violated.
- Shooting fireworks or launching other burning objects into the sky is prohibited at the homestead according to the regulations of the Žemaitija National Park Directorate.
- Guests are responsible for the safety of their belongings during their stay. Guests must take all their belongings when leaving.
- Prie Žiedelio homestead is not responsible for the safety of items left behind or lost during the stay.
- If a technical, systemic, or other error occurs that prevents us from providing services and requires the cancellation of a reservation, the money paid will be refunded.

Hot tub and sauna usage instructions:
- Take a shower before and after using the HOT TUB.
- When not using the hot tub, make sure to properly cover it with the lid.
Prohibited in the hot tub and sauna:
- Eating food.
- It is not recommended to consume alcohol and use the sauna, as it can harm your health.
- Pouring and using liquids (essential oils, shampoos, bath foams), salts, or personal hygiene cosmetic products (e.g., shaving or depilatory products, face masks, scrubs). Water quality is constantly monitored to maintain ideal hygiene and cleanliness. If the water quality significantly changes after your visit, you will be charged (€50) for water replacement and additional cleaning of the hot tub.
- Bringing glass containers and dishes into the sauna and hot tub.
- Jumping into the water from the hot tub bridge, running, or making noise.
- Using room towels, bed linens, blankets, or other indoor items outdoors.
- The hot tub and sauna are not recommended for guests with vascular or heart conditions. Please choose an appropriate temperature and duration of use.
Sauna usage reminder:
- It is prohibited to use your own infusions, extracts, or birch brooms in the sauna.
- It is prohibited to pour large amounts of water onto the stove stones.
- If you decide to stop using the sauna, leave the sauna door open.
- Guests are not allowed to start the sauna themselves; the homestead staff will take care of it.
- Guests are fully responsible for any damage to movable or immovable property and other material valuables in the recreation area. (Guests are liable for damages according to the laws of the Republic of Lithuania).

Fire safety and behavior rules:
Guests must:
- Use electrical appliances responsibly, and do not allow children to use them. Never leave electrical appliances, radios, or televisions on unattended.
- Smoke only in designated areas and dispose of cigarette butts only in the designated containers.
- Only create fire pits or fireplaces with permission from the homestead owners or their authorized representative, and after listening to the safety instructions.
- Place firewood only in designated areas, at a safe distance from open flames.
- When using fire pits or stoves, never leave children unattended and do not allow them to tend to the fire or play with burning sticks, wood, or embers.
- Do not start any fires in the forest (do not throw cigarette butts or use open flames).
- Fires may only be made in designated areas on the homestead and in the outdoor fire pit. Never leave the fire unattended; when leaving the fire pit, always extinguish it.
- Children are allowed to swim, row boats, or fish only with the supervision of parents or guardians. Those wishing to fish must obtain the necessary permits for recreational fishing and ensure the fishing spot is left tidy.
- Do not climb or sit on railings in attics, balconies, or gazebos on the homestead.
- Behave in a way that does not endanger the health and safety of yourself or other guests.
- Use sports equipment and other gear only for its intended purpose.
- Each guest is individually responsible for the quality and freshness of the food they bring.
- If a guest or their child injures themselves or damages their property due to their own fault, by violating safety, fire safety, or internal rules, the service provider is not liable for any consequences.
- The guest who causes noise on the homestead after 11:00 PM and before 6:00 AM is responsible for it.
- The person who books the homestead or a specific room is responsible for ensuring that all guests in the booked areas are familiar with these rules (for group bookings, the main guest is responsible).
- Guests are responsible for any accidents that may occur inside the homestead, on stairways, walking paths in the forest, in the yard, playgrounds, sports courts, saunas, swimming in the lake, etc.
- Guests are responsible for accidents and consequences resulting from alcohol consumption.
- The main guest booking the homestead or rooms must sign the “Prie Žiedelio” homestead rental contract and ensure that all guests are informed about the fire safety and behavior rules. They are fully responsible for ensuring that all guests comply with these rules. They are also responsible to the homestead owners or their authorized representative for maintaining order and respecting the private property of the homestead.

Each building is equipped with a fire extinguisher to put out small fires.
