About us

The rural tourism homestead “Prie Žiedelio” is located in the Žemaitija National Park, in a secluded spot on the shore of Lake Žiedelis. The homestead is surrounded by four lakes, offering exceptional natural beauty and tranquility. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, active outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, or fishing, and the cozy accommodation options and traditional local dishes will ensure an unforgettable stay. This is one of the first rural tourism homesteads established in the Plateliai area. The hostess, Janina, together with her children, continues to develop and grow the homestead, which she and her husband Edvardas founded two decades ago in the old Beržoras forest district. So if you feel the urge to escape from worries, work, or annoying phone calls, from the noise of the city, to pamper your body or breathe in fresh air – the rural tourism homestead “Prie Žiedelio” is just the place for you.

Culinary heritage

At the homestead, we invite our guests to experience the beauty of our region through its cuisine. During the educational activity “Taste of Žemaitija,” we present traditional Samogitian dishes.

Leisure

The homestead offers a wide range of activities for both adults and children. It’s a great opportunity to test your skills on the tennis court, take a relaxing boat ride on the lake with a fishing rod in hand, or unwind in the sauna.

Wellness camps

Nowadays, when we have many opportunities to take care of our health but often lack the time, wellness camps offer a way to combine many things – quality rest, time with friends or colleagues, the desire to improve well-being, and the chance to gain new knowledge.
